Sonja has been helping clients meet their wellness goals for over 10 years.   In addition to being a Certified Personal Trainer she is also a Medical Exercise Specialist through the American Council on Exercise.  Sonja specializes in functional exercise, metabolic and balance training with additional expertise in post-rehabilitation care and program design for clients with cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, pre and post-natal needs and senior populations.  Sonja believes in addressing the whole individual including nutrition, sleep, and stress management.  She also holds a Weight Loss Specialist Certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and regularly offers nutrition consultations and weight loss strategies for small groups or one-on-one.  Other specialties include Golf Conditioning Specialist and YogaFit Instructor.  When Sonja is not working with clients she lifts weights regularly and loves anything outdoors with her husband and children; hiking, biking, rollerblading, running, stand up paddle boarding and kayaking, or even just walking the dogs!
